This latest issue Multi Terrain Pattern (MTP) garment is made from a 30/70 poly-cotton fabric for strength and comfort and is treated with Permethrin in order to repel mosquitos and other biting insects. This summer weight jacket can be worn with or without a base layer as conditions dictate and gives an extremley smart appearance while remaining very practical. As with all British designed jackets, this one can be worn tucked or untucked into the trousers.

A front zip closure is covered by a fabric flap which is secured by hook and loop tabs. This garment can be worn with a mandarin style collar for use with body armour, or open at the neck for comfort when appropriate. 2 chest pockets are accessed by vertical openings, each secured by hook and loop tape. Inside these large pockets, 3 angled pen sleeves are provided and in the left pocket, securing loops for small items are also available. A fabric strap is provided in the middle of the chest for the wearing of rank badges, the attachment tab for that strap being neatly concealed.

On both sleeves, upper arm pockets with hook & loop closures and attachment loops sewn inside are provided. The sleeve pockets are angled for ease of access and are useful for small items like tourniquets and medical dressings. They also have loop panels for the wearing of combat ID or other badges. Those panels have MTP covering patches if the hook & loop is not required and the one on the left sleeve has the Union Flag attached. The bottom portions of the sleeves have pockets for padding if required just like the UBACS also available. These padding pockets also have hook & loop closures and water drain holes. The adjustable wrists feature flap covered buttons.
