Commonly referred to by its abbreviation; UBACS, this garment is a must-have item if wearing body armour or plate carrier systems as well as tactical load carrying vests. The Multi Terrain Pattern (MTP) camouflage components are made from a 30/70 poly-cotton fabric for strength and comfort with the main body and under arm panels of an olive coloured moisture wicking material to maximize sweat evaporation. It is treated with Permethrin in order to repel mosquitos and other biting insects.

Towards the top of both sleeves, upper arm pockets with hook & loop closing flaps with attachment loops sewn inside are offered. These sleeve pockets are great for small items like tourniquets and medical dressings. They also have loop panels for the wearing of combat ID or other badges. Those panels have MTP covering patches if the hook & loop is not required and the one on the left sleeve has the Union Flag attached. The bottom portions of the sleeves have pockets for padding if required. These pockets have hook & loop closures and water drain holes.

A quarter length zip closes the shirt at the neck or can be left undone for ventilation. The zipper is fabric backed for comfort. The adjustable wrists feature flap covered buttons.
