Manufactured using a tough rip stop Poly Cotton blend fabric, these field jackets were an addition to the Soldier 95 temperate combat clothing system. British 2 colour desrt DPM camouflage meets military requirements for concealment in desert and other arid regions and also for infrared reflectivity - providing effective camouflage even when viewed through image intensifiers.

The 4 front pockets are fastened by large slotted buttons, plus 2 vertical zip closure chest map pockets are provided, each with pen pockets inside. Small items can be secured to sewn-in loops on the chest pocket closure flaps. An eppaulette for rank badges is located on the front of the jacket.

A rugged full length 2 way zip closes the smock and the storm flap covering that is hook & loop fastened. The adjustable wrists also use hook & loop closures. Waist and hem draw cords are provided, with the hem cord being elasticized and provided with cord locks.

These garments were manufactured for a short period only during the late 1990's and therefore new and unissued ones are extremely rare now. Our stock is very limited with no more being available.
