This Radio Daysack was designed for use with the latest UK Combat Net Radio system, BOWMAN. The back panel is designed to secure man portable radios with straps, ties, and pockets. Radio operators use what they need and fold away what they don't. The back panel may be used on its own to carry radio equipment without the main load carry compartment attached.
The main compartment is spacious enough for personal gear and is removable from the back panel, which is secured by strong zip fastenings at the sides and press studs on the bottom. This removable compartment allows for the changing of batteries or audio gear without needing to unpack its contents. The pack has a large lid pocket for personal items or documentation which is secured by 2 straps with side release buckles. Bottom webbing securing loops as well as metal top and bottom D rings enable extra securing straps or ties to be applied if needed for larger, heavier items. The sides of the pack feature attachment zips and clips for PLCE side pockets, available separately here. Load straps are all fully adjustable as are the shoulder straps and waist belt whose side release buckle ensures comfort and security. The mesh covered back panel allows for increased circulation in hot conditions.
This daysack, although designed for use with the Bowman range of combat net radio, will secure other, portable radios such as the Clansman range, SINCGARS and PRC522 radios. When radios aren't required, simply use the daysack as a personal load carry pack with enough capacity for a 2 or 3 day trip.
This item is available in Temperate or Desert DPM. Water resistant, Infra-Red Reflectant, Mil-Spec Cordura material is used throughout. Side release buckles, zip fasteners and webbing components are all of the highest quality. This unissued daysack comes factory packed and is available in very limited quantities and at a great price.
